We have posted before about the incredible bond between Tam and our resident cats. But we are still so touched by the gentle care that they show him. Tam, a beloved member of Sara Morocco for 9 long years. He is a blind dog with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. They gift him with moments of gentle care .

Tam is one of our cherished senior dogs here at Sara Morocco . He is blind and suffers from an inherited condition (Eher-Danlos Syndrome). Our resident cats take it in turns to sleep with him, comforting him when he is having a bad sick day

Just a ‘few’ of our 900 dogs at our animal refuge Sara Morocco. With so many dogs, you would think there would be many fights,or problems, they are few and far between. With the heat, the separation by size/age, plus the neutering we do, these animals live quite harmoniously with our 180+cats.

We have 900 street rescues at our animal sanctuary Sara Morocco. 180+ cats, some horses and donkeys. This is just a glimpse into the refuge. With so many animals we are humbled by how well they get on. We do run a neuter/vac program. Separating the old/sick and juniors, every day is a bit chaotic

We often have many scared juniors arrive to Sara Morocco, scared, injured and abandoned to the streets. We are in awe of our cats ( who live with 900 dogs) just know they are in need of love and mothering. We often witness them sneaking into the pups baskets, bringing love and comfort
